Meet the Creative Team...

Sean Turner

Director

Sean has recently completed a tenure as Artistic Director and Chief Executive of Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells. He trained at the National Theatre and with Complicite as well as at both the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts and East 15 School of Acting. 

 

Sean has been Associate director of the Play That Goes Wrong since 2015. As well as looking after the show in the West End and on tour, he has directed replica productions in many countries across the world.

 

He is responsible for unearthing the script of Arthur Miller’s first play, No Villain; he then directed the World Premiere at the Old Red Lion and later transferred the production to the West End. 

 

Sean’s first foray into film work won an NME Award (Best Music Video, 2022) when he co-directed the video for ‘Wake Me Up’ by the band ‘Foals’.

Joe Leather

Script Supervisor

Joe Leather is a writer/performer from the East Midlands.

 

Previous writing credits include The Lost Musical Works of Willy Shakes (The Assembly Rooms), Queenz (UK Tour/West End) and Wasteman which received the Phoebe Waller-Bridge 'Keep It Fringe' Fund and was nominated for two Offies.

 

Previous TV credits include Britain's Got Talent and The Last Leg, while performance credits include Jersey Boys and Sleep No More.

Will Arundell

Music Supervisor

Will trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Guildford School of Acting and works as an Orchestrator, Music Producer and Musical Director for theatres and record labels worldwide.  Will also regularly designs and records "click-tracks" for large scale touring artists, musicals and cruise lines.  

 

Recent credits include: Kinky Boots (New Wolsey Theatre/QTH) - Onstage Musical Director, Seasons by Laura Auer (Four Album Set, Emitha/Crossover Records) - Music Supervision/Orchestration, Sister Act (English Theatre Frankfurt) - Keyboard Programming, Cindy!
